During the 2022 edition of the GAS Festival we are launching the showcase concept EME – Experimental Music Expo.
EME is about presenting established and un-established experimental artists and ensembles in a smaller format, for initiated industry professionals as well as for the general public. Think of it as an informal trade fair for experimental music in the widest sense of the word. EME takes place in Gothenburg during three full days on October 18-20th as part of the 2022 edition of the GAS Festival. These EME events below are marked with a slight purple tone.

Using open musical forms, alternate tuning systems, resonance, and instrument design, Arutiunian often works with sound’s political and speculative aspects.
