With the actual physical space as the starting point, flautist Anders Hagberg gather musicians from Högskolan för Scen och Musik for the project Places, Spaces – a musical sound walk.
Using the Academy house, Artisten as their arena, allowing the different rooms to become active parts in this sonic landscape, Anders and fellow musicians will create a space filled with music and sounds.
Places, Spaces is a site-specific concert lead by Anders Hagberg, featuring musicians/students from the improvisation program at Högskolan för Scen och Musik. The music will be performed in different rooms with different acoustic qualities. The creative starting point for the performance is Anders Hagberg’s artistic research Inner and Outer Spaces revolving around how music, spaces, and acoustics interplay and how they affect and amplify each other.
