Konstepidemin is an artist-run cultural centre and studio association in Gothenburg. It is one of Sweden’s largest workplaces for artists in the free cultural life where over 120 practitioners from different art areas work, ranging from visual artists to sculptors, writers, musicians, filmmakers, actors, etc.

Dergårdsteatern, Lerum

Dergårdsteatern is located in Lerum, east of Gothenburg. It hosts theatre, music and dance performances, but is also used for municipal council meetings. An annual highlight is Lerumsrevyn’s New Year’s revue.

Göteborgs Konserthus

A building open for all, with music at its centre, was the starting point for the architect Nils Einar Eriksson when he drew the plans for the Gothenburg Concert Hall. With its stylistically pure functionalism and its beautiful natural materials, the architecture was ground-breaking when the building was inaugurated in 1935.

Kronhuset

Just a stone’s throw from Nordstan you will find one of Gothenburg’s oldest houses. When the Kronhuset began to be built in 1642 to be used as a store of war material, it was only 21 years after the city was founded by Gustav II Adolf.

In front of the Kronhuset are the Kronhusbodarna from the 18th century, where you as a visitor are offered handicrafts, chocolate and newly made designs that you buy directly from local artisans with their own workshops. You are most welcome to visit us.
