Experimental Music Expo
For the 2022 edition of the GAS-Festival we’re launching a brand new concept called EME – Experimental Music Expo. The idea with EME is to present both established and un-established experimental artists and ensembles in a smaller format, for initiated industry professionals as well as for the general public. Think of it as an informal trade fair for experimental music in the widest sense of the word.
“With EME, the festival wants to showcase experimental and exploratory music in a compressed format, where the audience meet artists during a brief time-span. This is an opportunity to “taste” new expressions and where variation and diversity in genres and expressions create a form of smorgasbord of artistic exploration and experiments.”

EME takes place in Gothenburg during two full days on October 19-20th as part of the 2022 edition of the GAS Festival. The full program for EME 2022 consists of 14 artists and ensembles and will be announced during spring.
Since 2011, Dag is one of three the co-owners of Gothenburg based production company Producentbyrån. Producentbyrån is a team of producers and project managers working with various artists, companies, festivals, conferences and projects in performing arts, both in Sweden and internationally. Dag has a background as a sound technician and also works as a composer and musician for separate works, film and performing arts productions. Dag works with the GAS-Festival’s communication and graphic design.
