The line-up for this year’s festival is now complete! Musically just as disparate as we want it to be, the artists’ expressions move from solo violin and voice explorations, to a drone performance captured at an old mine building and a collaboration around brand new orchestral works. Some of it performed live, some as pre-recorded stream-only performances.
Maria W Horn [SE]
Hailing from the north of Sweden, Maria has carved her own niche in electronic music, oscillating between minimalist structures and piercing power electronics. Using both digital and analog synthesis as well as acoustic instruments and audiovisual components, her music isas dark and catharticas it is personal.
For this occasion, we’re treated to an exclusive pre-recorded concert captured at Ställbergs Gruva in Kopparberg.

Diamanda’s concerts are dynamic, physical and visually overwhelming as she moulds her own folky songs, contemporary compositions and violin virtuosity into a seamless performance. For this concert she asked Scottish composer Genevieve Murphy to transform her earlier performance Subverse into something brand new, with new notes and new perspectives.
The concert is a pre-recorded performance that will be streamed as part of this year’s digital program. The stream will be available at the Göteborg Art Sounds YouTube channel.
