Previous Festival

During the 2024 edition of the festival, GAS presented artists from The United Kingdom, Japan, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, The United States, China, Denmark, Iceland, Greece and Sweden at twelve different venues in and Gothenburg and around Västra Götaland.

The 2020 edition was about bridging the gaps between the physical and the digital, hosting both live concerts as well as online concerts.

The 2018 edition of the festival was about presenting art that could problematize and make us question the world around us. Art that refuses to give simple answers.

The fifth edition of the GAS Festival was held between October 2-7 2007 and hosted regular concerts, headphone concerts, installations, exhibitions, performance pieces and seminars.

The ninth edition of the festival went by the name GAS FEST 2013 and was held at Nefertiti Jazz Club and at 3:e Våningen in Gothenburg on September 27th-28th, 2013

The eight edition of the GAS-Festival was divided into three separate segments during spring 2012 starting on April 7th. The second installment of the festival took place between May 11th-13th and the third edition took place on June 1st-3rd.

The seventh edition of the GAS Festival was held between May 7-8th 2011 and hosted regular concerts, DJ’s and a massive ensemble concert. The title for this edition was GAS FEST 2011.

The festival was held between May 3-9th 2010 and hosted concerts, installations, dance performances, soundscapes, talks, seminars and film screenings. The theme for the festival was Burning.

The fourth edition of the festival was held between October 1-8 2005 and hosted concerts, installations, exhibitions, performance and dance pieces and seminars.
